740 East Campbell Road, also known as Eastside Centre is a 14 story office building in Richardson, Texas built in the late 1970’s. The  existing post modern building had a clear and well-defined geometry, as was common of office buildings built at that time. The clients primary concern was the prevalence of brick in the interior lobby and the clunky curtain wall that defined the entry procession.

The design approach stays true to the architecture of the building and leaves the existing brick in place. The design team redefined the hierarchy of the space, drawing focus towards lighter design elements that complemented the existing geometry – creating a cohesive and fresh new lobby and entry procession.

Completed while at Hoefer Wysocki, Clemente Jaquez served as Design Architect and Mike MacGregor served as Project Manager & Project Architect.
