PARK CENTRAL RENOVATION

15,000 SF  |  Dallas, Texas

Park Central is a 20 story office building in North Dallas located in a major office submarket. The building interiors were tired and in desperate need of upgrading. Shades of brown enveloped an otherwise compelling 6 story atrium space that was underutilized because of poor furniture programming.

The design team was charged with re-envisioning what this space could be other than “new paint and tile”. After an extensive exploration with the team, the design approach was to create a hierarchy of elements that complemented that vast size of the atrium. The design team also developed a new Corner Bakery Café with properly programmed seating to activate the new lobby space; creating a vibrant place to grab coffee, lunch, or simply take a break during the work day.

Completed while at Hoefer Wysocki, Clemente Jaquez served as Design Architect and Mike MacGregor served as Project Manager & Project Architect.
