Duk is our Hospitality Practice Leader, bringing a global perspective influenced by a career in crafting authentic destination experiences. He leads with curiosity and a holistic approach, bringing architecture and interior design to create experiential and branded environments that are distinctive and deeply considered. Duk believes the strongest ideas emerge through collaboration and a willingness to see each project from a fresh perspective. Duk’s goal is to spark excitement, restore the spirit, and transform shared moments into lasting memories.

As MODUS Architecture's co-founder and Operations Leader, Mike has shaped our firm around the belief that great design, thoughtful execution, and genuine client relationships are inseparable. He guides clients and project teams through every phase of the design process, bringing clarity to complex decisions and balancing constructability, budget considerations, and design intent. Mike’s leadership reflects the principles on which MODUS was founded: listen first, communicate openly, follow through on commitments, and always do what is right for the client. Mike Fahey, AIA, NCARB
Mike leads MODUS Architecture’s Kansas City office with extensive experience across markets building partnerships and expanding the firm’s presence throughout the region. Mike has robust expertise designing learning environments and guiding complex, district-wide facility improvement programs. In his daily work, Mike is most passionate about creating environments where children and families can reach their fullest potential and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
