MODUS architecture was founded by Clemente Jaquez and Mike MacGregor, two ambitious and savvy architects that, as part of their core process, challenge conventional thinking to create meaningful and relevant design solutions.

Clemente Jaquez

Clemente is our Design Director and Ideation leader. He brings more than 11 years of global, national and local experience with a focus on effective, creative and client-centered design projects.
As lead designer, he facilitates the ideation, communication and implementation of our projects to ensure that vision and design intent permeate through every phase of our work. His approach to design focuses on our client's goals to create immersive experiences that impact our communities and quality of life.
Clemente's ability to translate client needs to tangible solutions has allowed him to span and deliver exceptional design across a multitude of markets. His focus on design performance coupled with contextual sensibilities delivers solutions that bring relevant value to our clients and create a compelling experience for all. Clemente leads our branding and marketing efforts to best align with our firm's strategic growth and core values.
Mike MacGregor
FOUNDING PARTNER

Mike is our Operations Director and Technical Design Leader. He strategically guides and advises our clients through all phases of the design process to best arrive at decisions that result in timely and predictable outcomes. He is driven to provide exceptional service, seamless communication which consistently results in client satisfaction.
As the leader of our firm's project management and project delivery, Mike sets the standards and protocols to best align with each unique project need and client expectation. Tactfully weighing market considerations, constructability and design impact, Mike's role inherently evolves as a trusted adviser for our clients.
During his tenure as an Architect, Mike has led a variety of project types and scales. He was worked closely with contractors to oversee the implementation of our work, developing relationships based on trust that build consensus and yield positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
